wouldnt suggest going to YOEC. The nigleh magidei shiurim arent great (except for maybe avremi shochet), and the rosh is NUTS. The man is totally unpredictable and violent at times. Chassidus is pretty good and so are the mashpei'im.
The rosh is an ill man. He is not a rational person to speak to, and acts out on impulse. (Some people do enjoy this though). Additionally, he is an unkind person. He also has a shita that the way to improve a bochur is to break him. He is disrepectful to bochurim.

Rabbi Shapiro gives a lot of love and is a great farbrenger and a great guy to talk to.
Unfortunately he has a very weak koach hahasboro.
Rabbi Cohen is very cold. Unless you are on an advanced Chassidus level, think twice about going to his shiur.
More accurately than above:
The rosh is an ill man.
He is not a rational person to speak to, and acts out on impulse.
(Some people do enjoy this though).
Additionally, he is an unkind person.
He also has a shita that the way to improve a bochur is to break him.
He is disrepectful to bochurim.
Summary:
The Rosh- Nuts
Rabbi Cohen- Cold
Rabbi Schapiro- Sweet guy, but doesn't really have much pull in terms of how the Yeshiva is run.
Rabbi Avtzon- How in the world did he get that job? He has the maturity level of a 16 year old.
Summary. This yeshiva needs a refuah sh'leima. I'm not sure how it's even possible, but it seems to get worse by the year.
